Towards the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), on the morning of April 23, Comrade Mai Xuan Liem, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in Thach Thanh district.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Xuan Liem visited the health and life of Dien Bien veteran Pham Van Tuyen in Kim Tan town.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Xuan Liem and the delegation visited and presented gifts to former Dien Bien soldier Pham Van Tuyen (born in 1933) in Kim Tan town; former youth volunteer Luong Xuan Giao (born in 1933) in Thach Dinh commune and former frontline laborer Nguyen Thi Lam (born in 1931) in Van Du town.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also came to offer incense to commemorate and pay tribute to Dien Bien martyrs Bui Minh Han (Thanh Tho commune) and Bui Minh Ty (Thach Long commune); and presented gifts to relatives and those who worship the martyrs.
At the places visited, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Xuan Liem inquired about the health and living conditions of the martyrs, Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline workers who contributed to the historic Dien Bien Phu victory with our army and people.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his wish that relatives and people worshiping martyrs; Dien Bien veterans, youth volunteers, and frontline workers continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition, educate and encourage their children and grandchildren to actively study, work, and contribute their strength and intelligence to the local socio-economic development.
