'Flowers on the Fire Line' pays tribute to women who wrote heroic history

Flowers on the Fire Line is inspired by the story of Vietnamese women: Under the rain of bombs and bullets, they appear as bright flowers, carrying an optimistic spirit and the will to win. The collection is a tribute to the silent but powerful sacrifices of women on all fronts, from the rear to the front.

" Flowers on the Fire Line is not only a collection of Ao Dai but also a gift, a deep gratitude to the women who wrote the heroic history of the nation. I want to use every needle and thread to tell the story of their resilience and optimism, like flowers blooming in the fire line", designer Trisha Vo, Creative Director of Ao Dai Lien Huong, shared.

Accordingly, the collection has a dominant red color throughout, images of flares, fireballs, bullets... are vividly recreated on each Ao Dai flap. The highlight of the collection is the combination of Ao Dai and Ao Ba Ba - the costume associated with the image of women in the Southwest, female youth volunteers or female soldiers of that time. In addition, the checkered scarf of the resistance days will also be combined on the catwalk, bringing a modern, fashionable breath while still imbued with tradition.

The collection Flowers on the Fire Line will be performed on the stage of the Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival 2025 on the opening night (March 7) at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park and Nguyen Hue Walking Street through performances by beauty queens, runners-up, famous models and former female youth volunteers - the "flowers on the fire line" of that day.
