Ms. Duong Cam Thuy - President of the Ho Chi Minh City Cinema Association - proposed that the city needs to have its own mechanism for film protection policies to develop Vietnamese film production activities.

She suggested that priority should be given to screening Vietnamese films, taxes should be collected at a low rate for Vietnamese films, and banks should offer preferential interest rates to filmmakers...

"Set aside funds for film development, including film production, construction of technical facilities (building studios, film screening centers, film technical centers, etc.), and training of human resources" - Ms. Duong Cam Thuy wishes.

Mr. Le Minh Tuan - Deputy Director of the Copyright Department, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism - is concerned about copyright infringement in the creative field.

"If a cultural industrial product is not well protected, it will not last long on the market. If a film or art program is quickly spread and copied, it will have a big impact on the investor and the creative performance team," said Mr. Minh Tuan.

"To build a cultural industry, there must be a clear, fundamental, and specific legal corridor. Otherwise, it will be difficult to do" - journalist To Dinh Tuan, editor-in-chief of Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper, concluded.
