It is worth mentioning that the images that are filled in "Stay with me" are the beautiful scenery of Sa Pa (Vietnam). Through their song, The Moffatts sent a message to the audience: "Hope you love the music and scenery of Vietnam" on their fanpage with more than 5 million followers.
Feel and spread
The MV "Stay with me" is part of HAY Fest's plan to bring works produced in collaboration with international artists in many different fields to promote the image of the country, people, and tourism of Vietnam to the world. In the first season, HAY Fest will collaborate with the Music Travel Love cover project of 2 members of The Moffatts, Clint and Bob, to make 4 cover MVs filmed at 4 beautiful destinations in Vietnam. The first music product to open the HAY Fest project is the cover of the song "Stay with me" filmed by 2 members of The Moffatts in Sa Pa.
The MV features houses in the middle of valleys, majestic terraced fields, clouds curling over mountain tops and misty mountain peaks that sometimes move viewers because of the series of beautiful and poetic moments of the mountainous region of Northern Vietnam. It is known that after Sa Pa, the 2 members of The Moffatts had the opportunity to visit Phu Quoc, Ha Long, Da Nang, Ban Gioc Waterfall (Cao Bang) to find scenery and materials for their music project.

Previously, the group also had an impressive performance at HAY Fest, which took place at Yen So Park, Hanoi. The Moffatts once expressed: "Vietnam is an extremely beautiful country, we have performed there and had wonderful experiences: delicious food, friendly people. But with this project, we want to feel Vietnam in a slower, deeper and more serious way. Not only artists, we will become tourists who want to spread the beauty of this place through the journey with HAY Fest".

In addition to these two products, Joseph Kwon has composed many works about Vietnamese culture such as "Go Vietnam Go Go" (2020), "Cha ca hay Peace", "You are in my heart" released in 3 languages: Vietnamese, Korean, English.
Cultural ambassadors
The beautiful Vietnamese landscapes appearing in foreign stars’ music products are not part of the individual’s strategy. Most of the works are collaborative products with the main intention coming from the people in the country. Campaigns to promote Vietnamese culture to the world through foreign stars’ products are like a journey to increase the virality and effect of the performer.
For example, HAY Fest's cooperation with The Moffatts is a way for the HAY Fest Organizing Committee to increase its "prestige". Of course, HAY Fest also wants to promote Vietnamese culture to the world. Head of the HAY Fest Organizing Committee, Mr. Hoang Linh, emphasized: "For us, a successful music festival is not just about selling out all the tickets or receiving praise. What is important is the experiences that the artists have on stage with thousands of spectators. HAY Fest's ambition will be festivals lasting 2 days 1 night, 3 days 2 nights..., a destination to enjoy art, have fun for groups of friends/families and international tourists".

Recently, the keyword "cultural industry" with the expectation of developing Vietnam's rich cultural identity to the world, has been of particular interest to young people. STRONG Trong Hieu wore a conical hat and ao dai on stage to perform in the German Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Dare to be different" and created a highlight with the lyrics "Vietnam's homeland takes me away". Or the image of ao dai with singer Chi Pu appearing in a big program in China or the success of Quang Hung MasterD in Thailand...
Singer Hanbin (Ngo Ngoc Hung) is also very active in promoting Vietnamese culture as a member of the music group TEMPEST (Korea). He often speaks Vietnamese in group activities or teaches other members to speak Vietnamese.
Many TEMPEST fans said they are learning to speak Vietnamese to communicate with their idols. Hanbin also promotes Vietnamese cuisine when he has the opportunity to meet Korean stars on TV shows or on MBC radio.
"Bringing Vietnam to the world is something that cannot be done alone but requires the support of everyone, of Vietnamese people all over the world. When everyone's energy is gathered and united, we will be a thousand times stronger" - singer STRONG Trong Hieu confided.
According to Mr. Cuong Chu - founder of Big Arts Entertainment Company - the debut of some Vietnamese artists in Korea is a strong lever not only for the Vietnamese entertainment industry but also indirectly promotes many other aspects of the country, people, culture, and tourism to international audiences. Many Vietnamese artists have become cultural ambassadors, bringing the Vietnamese brand to millions of audiences around the world.
Experts say that today's music has become a connecting thread between Vietnam and other countries in the region as well as international friends. Currently, many MVs with a pure Vietnamese trend imbued with traditional Vietnamese culture, illustrating stories told with modern music are spreading on the Internet. Thereby, bringing the image of Vietnam to the outside world more and more, which is considered to contribute to the overall success of national diplomacy.
