The General Department of Market Management (GDM), Ministry of Industry and Trade, has just informed that in the early morning of October 9, GDM Team No. 1, Market Management Department of Phu Yen province coordinated with the Economic Police Department and the Traffic Police Department, Phu Yen Provincial Police to inspect the truck with license plate 89H-06356 traveling in the North - South direction.
As a result of the inspection, the authorities discovered that the vehicle was transporting 1,563 shirts and dresses with signs of counterfeiting the Zara and Mango brands. These are major fashion brands that have been registered for protection in Vietnam.
At the time of inspection, the truck driver could not present invoices or documents proving the legal origin of the goods transported on the vehicle.
Market Management Team No. 1 coordinated with the Economic Police Department, Phu Yen Provincial Police to draw up a record and transfer it to Tuy Hoa City Police for further investigation and handling according to authority.
