The book is a systematic synthesis, with a new summary based on the inheritance of previously published documents by domestic and foreign historians, with some special documents such as maps from all three sides: Vietnam, China, geographers - Western organizations; combined with valid arguments and evidence based on international law.
When the map has a legal basis and is in accordance with international law, the protection of sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa will be enforced, ensuring peace in the region and promoting the potential development of Vietnam's marine economy.
In addition, the book also creates a scientific document for later generations to refer to and continue to develop further.
On this basis, the content presented in the book will continue to be researched in depth by the author in the near future.
The author shared: “In addition to recording, the process of establishing sovereignty from the Nguyen Dynasty and the woodblocks left by Vietnamese feudal dynasties have contributed significantly to Vietnam affirming its sovereignty over its seas and islands.
The analysis of the above historical evidence combined with the provisions of international law is one of the scientific and practical bases to determine the historical basis, legal basis, and long-term ownership and exploitation rights of Vietnam in Hoang Sa and Truong Sa.
This is necessary to have a basis for bilateral and multilateral diplomatic struggles, to firmly protect Vietnam's sovereignty over the two archipelagos, as well as to serve the research on fluctuations, cooperation for security and development in the East Sea region."
The author welcomes and sincerely receives constructive comments and criticisms from readers, with the spirit of patriotism and the struggle to protect Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos with scientific knowledge.
