Allocating funds for construction of cultural and sports facilities

Decision of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee on allocating policy funding to support the construction of grassroots cultural and sports facilities at commune and village levels.

The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has just issued Decision No. 2943/QD-UBND dated September 27, 2023 "On the allocation of policy funding to support the construction of grassroots cultural and sports facilities".

According to the decision, the Provincial People's Committee allocated VND 1,433 billion from projects and policies in the fields of culture, sports and tourism to localities to support funding for implementing policies to build and improve the operational efficiency of the grassroots cultural and sports institution system.

The above budget is allocated to 2 levels: commune and village. For the commune level, the Provincial People's Committee allocated 768 million VND to support the upgrading of the Ky Lien Ward Cultural House (Ky Anh Town), support the construction of Tan My Ha Commune Stadium (Huong Son), and build 8 entertainment venues for the elderly and children in Ky Anh Town, Thach Ha, Duc Tho, and Cam Xuyen.

For the village level, the Provincial People's Committee allocated 665 million VND to support the construction of 7 village and residential group cultural houses (Thach Ha, Huong Khe, Nghi Xuan, Cam Xuyen, Ky Anh district) and the sports area of Tien Quang village, Ky Thuong commune (Ky Anh district).

To make this decision, the Department of Finance previously made a request in Official Dispatch No. 3513/STC-HCSN dated August 17, 2023.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns responsibility to the Department of Finance, the Provincial State Treasury and relevant agencies to disburse funds promptly and in accordance with regulations. Localities receiving funds are required to be responsible for managing and using funds for the right purposes, in accordance with regulations and to make payments in accordance with current regulations.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Finance are requested to take full responsibility before the law, the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and inspection and examination agencies for the accuracy of information, data, allocated funds, audit content, compliance with legal provisions and recommendations and advice in the above documents.
