Mr. Vu Duc Thang, Deputy Director of Ha Giang City Electricity , said: "Our unit has established a Disaster Prevention Subcommittee, assigning responsibilities to members and shock teams. On the other hand, we also closely coordinate with the Disaster Prevention Subcommittees of communes and wards in the city, regularly inspecting vulnerable locations to promptly detect and handle defects and risks that may lead to incidents on the power line system and transformer stations ."

PC Ha Giang is managing and operating more than 1,600 medium and low voltage transformer stations, more than 484 km of 110kV lines, nearly 3,000 km of medium voltage lines and 3,500 km of low voltage lines.
Since the beginning of the year, the company has focused on investing in areas with rapidly increasing load demand, implementing projects to prevent overloading of medium and low voltage lines, investing over 50 billion VND, and planning to gradually replace equipment that has been in operation for many years, has degraded quality, and is at high risk of incidents. At the same time, the company has directed its affiliated units to synchronously implement technical management solutions as well as prepare plans and scenarios to handle possible electrical incidents in each area.
Mr. Nong Huy Tuc, Head of PC Ha Giang Safety Department said: " To ensure the management, operation and supply of electricity in the upcoming storm season, PC Ha Giang organizes the inspection of the entire power grid system, defects on the power grid, develops a plan to implement and overcome, widely propagates to employees in the industry and all people about protecting the safety of the power grid corridor and safe use of electricity among the people.
When an incident occurs, organize forces, vehicles and materials to quickly fix the problem and ensure power is restored as quickly as possible .

Along with preparing human resources to be ready to respond to natural disasters these days, the Electricity Departments of districts and cities are actively going to the grassroots to coordinate with local authorities to organize propaganda on safe electricity use among the people, especially guiding the pulling of wires to load for use, and installing household appliances to ensure safety.

Through propaganda and guidance, we, the people, have learned how to prevent risks such as thunder and storms that cause incidents, which can lead to accidents and even endanger human life ."
Mr. Sam Van Chat, a specialized safety officer of Bac Quang Electricity, said that Bac Quang Electricity has inspected and reviewed all customer lines after the meter. If they are found to be unsafe, they will recommend and request customers and residents to replace them to ensure technical requirements and safety.
