According to energy experts, this power source can be used in the form of direct grid connection, grid connection with storage or used independently as a generator. In addition, when the load does not use up all the electricity, the excess capacity will be sold back to the electricity industry to connect to the national grid.

In 2022, a project named "EVNNPC Project 2022 Lighting up the countryside" was implemented in the districts: Cam Khe, Yen Lap, Doan Hung, Ha Hoa, Phu Ninh, Phu Tho Town, Thanh Ba, Tam Nong, Thanh Son, Tan Son, Thanh Thuy and Tan Son District Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.

This is a project by Phu Tho Electricity Company in coordination with local agencies and organizations to survey, select and deploy the installation of solar lighting systems on village roads without street lights. 246 solar lights on 11 roads nearly 14 km long and 1 school with a total investment of nearly 1.7 billion VND have been handed over and put into use.

Since 2020, the whole province has had 130km of roads lit, fully deployed in 13 districts and cities. Not only stopping at rural roads, realizing the benefits and potential of this green energy, many households and schools have installed and put into use rooftop solar power systems.

Ms. Van Hong's family (Thanh Mieu ward, Viet Tri city) installed rooftop solar power in November 2019 with an investment of 85 million VND.

Similar to Mrs. Van Hong's house, in 2019, Mr. Cao Tien Cuong's household (Zone 1, Ban Nguyen Commune, Lam Thao District) invested 80 million VND. With a total capacity of 5.5 kWp solar panels, rooftop voltage is used for all household appliances.

Mr. Cuong said: “Before the battery storage, my family spent 1.5 million VND on electricity in the summer. Since the installation, the electricity bill has been reduced by more than half, to only about 500 thousand VND. Since installing the rooftop solar panels, my family has reduced the electricity bill by more than half during the hot summer.

Although the cost of installing storage batteries is a bit high, in terms of advantages, rooftop solar power is very good and convenient. For example, after installing storage batteries, the whole area lost power but my house still had normal electricity. The good thing is that all the devices in the house still worked as if there was no power outage."

It can be seen that to install and use solar energy, households only need a site with good sunlight reception conditions and the cost ranges from 12-18 million VND for 1kWp depending on the installation location or roof structure, with an average calculation of about 6-7m2/kWp. Although the cost of purchasing and installing a solar energy system is quite high, in the long run, the amount of money that families save from using a solar energy system is not small.

For businesses, especially those operating in specific fields, renewable energy is considered one of the necessary criteria for products to be exported to strict foreign markets such as the US, Europe, Japan, etc.

With a capacity of 356.95 kWp, using 649 550 Wp panels from Risen Energy and 3 100k Wp inverters from Huawei, connected to the low voltage main switchboard after the existing 560 kVA - 35(22)/0.4 kV transformer of the factory.
