(NLDO) - While traveling on Highway 5, a small car suddenly collided with a tractor-trailer parked on the side of the road, then was thrown out and hit by the tractor-trailer behind.
At about 9:38 a.m. on March 24, Mr. NVT (born in 1970, Cam Hung commune, Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province) was driving a car 34A-287.xx on National Highway 5, Hai Phong - Hanoi direction. When reaching km 61+500, in Lai Khe commune, Kim Thanh district, the car suddenly collided with a tractor trailer 15H-042.xx pulling a trailer 15R-174.xx driven by Mr. N.D.N. (born in 1989, residing in Nam Trung commune, Nam Sach district) parked in the same direction in front in the right emergency lane.
Scene of a series of accidents
After the collision, the car spun sideways and flew to the left side of the road. At this moment, a tractor-trailer 50H-622.xx pulling a trailer 50RM-046.xx driven by Mr. BVT (born in 1985, residing in Thach Quang commune, Thach Thanh district, Thanh Hoa province) behind hit it.
Car causes multiple accidents on Highway 5, section through Kim Thanh
The multiple accidents injured Ms. NTH (born in 1956, residing in Nghia Dao commune, Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province), who was sitting in the car. The car 34A-287.xx and the tractor trailer 15H-042.xx were damaged.
Currently, the traffic accident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
