The Organizing Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee has just sent a document to the Party Delegation of the Provincial People's Council and the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, announcing the conclusion of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on personnel work.

Accordingly, in the meeting on May 9, the Provincial Party Standing Committee agreed to assign the Provincial People's Council Party Delegation to direct the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee to implement important contents.

Specifically, assign Mr. Tran Xuan Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Delegation, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Nam province to perform the duties and powers of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council until the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council is completed.

At the same time, report to the Ministry of Home Affairs to submit to the Prime Minister for decision to assign the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to Mr. Ho Quang Buu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Member of the Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee until the Provincial People's Council completes the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.

Currently, Quang Nam is vacant for the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council due to the retirement of Mr. Phan Viet Cuong, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and former Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Quang Nam province is also lacking the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee after Mr. Le Tri Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, resigned from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Up to now, Quang Nam has not yet completed the process of electing the positions of Chairman of the People's Council and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In addition, this locality also has only 2 Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, while according to regulations there are 4 people.
