The Board of Directors of Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank - HoSE: EIB) has just decided to appoint Mr. Tran Tan Loc as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the 7th term (2020-2025). The term of appointment is based on the term of the Board of Directors for the 7th term. The above decision takes effect from January 25, 2024.
Previously, in October 2023, Mr. Tran Tan Loc submitted a resignation letter from the position of General Director of Eximbank to focus on his duties at the Board of Directors. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai was appointed as acting General Director to replace him.
Mr. Tran Tan Loc was born in 1969. He graduated with a bachelor's, master's and doctorate from Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics.

Before being appointed as Vice Chairman of Eximbank's Board of Directors, Mr. Loc was a member of Eximbank's Board of Directors for the 7th term.

According to information published on the website, Eximbank's Board of Directors currently has 7 members, including Ms. Do Ha Phuong as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Tran Tan Loc as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ms. Luong Thi Cam Tu, Ms. Le Thi Mai Loan, Mr. Pham Quang Dung, Mr. Nguyen Canh Anh and Mr. Tran Anh Thang (independent members).
Regarding the business situation, recently, Eximbank's Board of Directors issued a Resolution on the expected business plan for 2024 to submit to the General Meeting of Shareholders for approval.
Accordingly, in 2024, Eximbank continues to set ambitious goals with a pre-tax profit target 90.5% higher than in 2023, at VND 5,180 billion.
The bank plans to increase total assets by 11% to VND223,500 billion, and capital mobilization by 10.5% to VND175,000 billion. The bank targets credit balance to increase by 14.6% to VND161,000 billion, while the bad debt ratio is reduced to the same level as in 2022 at 1.8% .
