On March 28, the 15th Provincial Party Executive Committee held its 66th meeting to elect and complete the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 15th term, 2020-2025. Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the meeting.
Pursuant to Document No. 14015-CV/VPTW dated March 27, 2025 of the Central Party Office announcing the direction of the Central Party Secretariat, agreeing to introduce comrade Vu Quyet Tien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Ha Long City Party Committee, to be elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025. At the conference, the Provincial Party Standing Committee submitted to the Provincial Party Executive Committee for consideration and election to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, term XV, term 2020-2025, for comrade Vu Quyet Tien according to regulations.
Highly agreeing with the Proposal of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee conducted a vote to elect comrade Vu Quyet Tien to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. As a result, comrade Vu Quyet Tien was elected as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, with an absolute number of votes of confidence (44/44 votes).
Previously, implementing the personnel work process, at key staff conferences, the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee with a democratic, objective, transparent, and strict spirit, in accordance with the process, comrade Vu Quyet Tien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Ha Long City Party Committee, received 100% of the votes of confidence to be nominated for the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Presenting flowers and congratulating comrade Vu Quyet Tien, Provincial Party Secretary Vu Dai Thang affirmed that the absolute voting rate demonstrated the high spirit of solidarity and unanimity of the Standing Committee, the Party Executive Committee and the key cadres of the province. At the same time, he hoped that comrade Vu Quyet Tien in his new position would continue to promote his qualities and intelligence, together with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to excellently complete the assigned tasks, contributing to the overall development of the province.
Also at the conference, the Provincial Party Executive Committee discussed and approved the plan to rearrange commune-level administrative units. All opinions were basically in agreement with the plan that the Provincial Party Standing Committee unanimously submitted to the Executive Committee; at the same time, analyzed and clarified the potential and development advantages of commune-level administrative units after the rearrangement.
The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: The project of not organizing district level and merging commune-level administrative units in Quang Ninh province was developed systematically and scientifically based on the opinions of sectors and localities. The Provincial Party Standing Committee also discussed and gave detailed opinions on this content.
He assigned the advisory agencies to receive comments and complete the project to submit to the Central Government.
