Binh Minh Plastics replaces General Director with Thai

(NLDO)- Mr. Niwat Athiwattananont (Thai nationality) was appointed to the position of General Director of Binh Minh Plastics to replace Mr. Treejak.


Binh Minh Plastic Joint Stock Company (stock code: BMP) has just sent a written report to the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) about receiving the resignation letter from Mr. Chaowalit Treejak from the position of member of the Board of Directors and General Director of the company due to health reasons.

The Board of Directors then approved the resignation of Mr. Chaowalit Treejak from the position of General Director from June 1, 2025.

Mr. Chaowalit Treejak joined the Board of Directors of Binh Minh Plastics from April 2021, took the position of General Director in August 2022 and was elected Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2023.

Instead, Mr. Niwat Athiwattananont (Thai nationality) was appointed to the position of General Director of Binh Minh Plastics from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2030.

Mr. Niwat is currently the Director of Research and Technology of SCG Chemicals Public Company Limited, Thailand.

Currently, The Nawaplastic, a member of SCG Group, is the largest shareholder of Binh Minh Plastics, holding more than 45 million BMP shares, equivalent to 54.99% of charter capital.

Regarding business performance, in 2024, Binh Minh Plastics' revenue decreased by 10.5% to VND 4,615 billion. After deducting expenses, profit after tax decreased by 4.8% to VND 990 billion, down 5% compared to the same period last year.
