During a meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky at the White House, Ms. Harris affirmed Washington's support for Kyiv. She emphasized that she would work to ensure Ukraine wins the war, which has lasted more than 2 years, and achieves a just peace, The Hill reported.
Vice President Harris added that “there are some people” in the US who want Ukraine to give up part of its territory and demand that Kyiv accept neutrality, thereby giving up security relations with other countries to end the conflict.

“That is not a peace proposal, that is a surrender proposal, which is dangerous and unacceptable,” she said.
At the White House, President Zelensky presented a victory plan that he has been talking about for weeks. He had previously pledged to present the plan to President Joe Biden, Ms. Harris and former President Donald Trump. White House spokesman John Kirby did not elaborate on the plan, saying it included initiatives, actions and goals that Mr. Zelensky believed would be important to ending the war and preventing future conflict.
