People's Artist Bach Tuyet continues to collaborate with a younger person in the next product after the success of "Come back and listen to mother's lullaby" (a collaboration product with singer Hoang Dung and musician Hua Kim Tuyen).
Cai Luong Chi Bao said she will have a music project in collaboration with rapper Wowy, a contestant she has admired since seeing him as a judge on a rap show. "Wowy's name reminds me of the philosophy of non-action of philosopher Lao Tzu. When working together, I see that he is an extremely kind person, he is extremely smart but works like a child. That convinced me" - People's Artist Bach Tuyet said.
People's Artist Bach Tuyet is known as one of the most famous figures in the art of reformed opera in Vietnam. But she also made an impression when she created many musical products associated with young singers.
She has made remakes of famous songs such as "Lac troi" by Son Tung M-TP, "Mang tien ve cho Me" by Den Vau and "Lac" by Rhymastic.
People's Artist Bach Tuyet believes that love cannot be forced, especially in art. She affirms that she does it because she likes it, and is lucky that her products are well received by everyone.
She "shakes hands" with rapper Wowy
“I have no intention of doing anything to attract young audiences, especially young people today, they don’t need my advice. They have a wonderful way of living. Working with young people a lot, I have to observe and learn from them. Young people today go find what they need. Just do what you like, if you’re lucky they will like what you do, that’s luck” - People’s Artist Bach Tuyet shared.
With her many years of experience, her prestige and dedication to the profession are respected by many young artists. In 2022, she announced her plan to continue developing Cai Luong on social networking sites with the Tinh Hoa Cai Luong project.
According to People's Artist Bach Tuyet, this is an experiment to help this traditional art form reach millions of young audiences of Gen Z. "Decades of working in the profession have given me a sense of what audiences like and value, on that basis I select and put on TikTok, not subjectively" - she said.
People's Artist Bach Tuyet added more about the renewal of Cai Luong: "Why blame young people for not listening to Cai Luong? What style of Cai Luong must be written to keep up with the times?"
