On the morning of September 5, joining the atmosphere of the first day of school across the country, 86 students at Thanh Lop school, Tan Thanh 2 Primary School, Tan Thanh commune (Thuong Xuan, Thanh Hoa) attended the opening ceremony at the spacious school sponsored by Dan Tri newspaper.
Mr. Lang Trong Hung, Principal of Tan Thanh 2 Primary School, said that in the 2024-2025 school year, Thanh Lop school will welcome 86 students.

"Thanks to the help of Dan Tri newspaper, the school after being built has given more motivation to students and teachers. On the opening day of the new school year 2024-2025, the students were eager and excited," Mr. Hung shared.
Lo Thi Phuong, class 4B shared: "This is the second year I have studied in a new, spacious and clean school. I am very happy because last school year I made great efforts to achieve high results in the Vietnamese Champion program. In this new school year, I will try and strive even harder to not let down everyone's help."

Thanh Lop school is located next to the hills in Tan Thanh commune, about 70km west of Thanh Hoa city center. Although it is a separate school, every year there are about 80-100 students studying here. Because the school was built many years ago, it shows signs of deterioration, making teaching and learning difficult.
Understanding the difficulties and hardships, implementing the assignment of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, in 2023, Dan Tri newspaper called on readers and benefactors to sponsor more than 430 million VND to start building more classrooms and renovating the school to be spacious and clean.
Sharing the same joyful and excited atmosphere, 35 students at Xem Dot school, Xuan Thang Primary School, Xuan Thang commune, Thuong Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province also just welcomed the new school year in 2 new, spacious and solid classrooms sponsored and built by Dan Tri newspaper.

Mr. Ha Xuan Sang, Principal of Xuan Thang Primary School, said that the school was very excited to witness the changes at the school after Dan Tri newspaper supported the construction.
Mr. Sang said that after the groundbreaking ceremony last July, two classrooms have been built and repaired. The construction unit has almost finished the items such as toilets and school yard. It is expected that the school will be completed in the next few days.
"We are very happy and excited to receive the help of Dan Tri newspaper and readers nationwide. Hopefully, in the new school year, the students and teachers of the school will achieve good results," said Mr. Sang.
