The program "60 hours of Vietnam Online Shopping Day - Online Friday 2023" is organized on the program's website and application systems, providing nationwide shopping codes and promotional programs for products and services of large enterprises operating in the field of production and distribution through e-commerce.
With the goal of reaching about 1 billion views on the program's platforms, 500 brands and 3,000 businesses participating in 60 hours of Vietnam Online Shopping Day, the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy will preside over and coordinate with partners to deploy many solutions to promote e-commerce development along with protecting consumer rights in the online environment.
The Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy hopes that this series of events will create a healthy "common playground" for both buyers and sellers in the digital environment, strongly promoting the breakthrough development of the e-commerce sector, as well as the digital economy in Vietnam. Demonstrating the role of connection and support of government agencies, businesses and people working together to promote the sustainable development of the e-commerce sector.
Vietnam Online Shopping Day is assigned by the Government to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units. Online Friday is held on the first Friday of December every year.
Since 2014, this program has received support and participation from many big names in online business. Over the past 10 years, Online Friday has contributed to promoting the breakthrough development of the e-commerce sector, as well as the digital economy in Vietnam.
