Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the price of Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) decreased by 50 VND/kg, fluctuating at 6,500 - 6,600 VND/kg; the price of IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 5,500 - 5,700 VND/kg; the price of OM 5451 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 5,800 - 6,000 VND/kg; the price of OM 18 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 6,500 - 6,600 VND/kg; OM 380 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 5,200 - 5,400 VND/kg; and Nang Hoa 9 rice was at 6,300 - 6,500 VND/kg.

Recorded in many localities today, the supply is low, buying and selling transactions are quite good. In Hau Giang, the supply is still low, most of the rice has been deposited, rice prices are stable. In An Giang, the purchase and selling transactions are only sporadic, rice prices are relatively stable.

In Kien Giang, the remaining winter-spring rice area is small, most of the quantity has been deposited. In Long An, new transactions are slow, rice prices are stable. In Dong Thap, fragrant rice farmers offer prices up, new transactions are sporadic, prices fluctuate little.

Similarly, with rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, currently raw rice 5451 fluctuates at 8,600 - 8,750 VND/kg; raw rice OM 380 fluctuates at 7,750 - 7,900 VND/kg; raw rice IR 504 fluctuates at 8,100 - 8,200 VND/kg; finished rice OM 380 fluctuates at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; finished rice IR 504 fluctuates at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.

As for by-products, the prices of by-products range from 6,700 - 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, the price of fragrant rice bran ranges from 7,100 - 7,300 VND/kg; rice bran 2 ranges from 6,700 - 6,800 VND/kg; the price of bran ranges from 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg.

Recorded in localities today, the quantity is scattered, the price of rice of all kinds fluctuates little. In An Giang, the quantity is quite good, warehouses buy fragrant rice all the time, the price has increased slightly. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the quantity is small, warehouses buy all the time, the price has increased slightly for fragrant rice and beautiful flat rice.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds are stable compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND15,000-16,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000-22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice fluctuates at VND22,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND18,000-20,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice fluctuates at VND22,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice fluctuates at VND21,000/kg; common white rice fluctuates at VND17,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at VND18,000/kg; Soc Thai rice is priced at VND21,000/kg; Japanese rice is priced at VND22,000/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices today remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 397 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 369 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 313 USD/ton.
