On May 23-24, the Ninh Binh Border Guard Command, the Ninh Binh Provincial Women's Union coordinated with the Provincial Women's Union and the Lao Cai Provincial Border Guard Command to organize the program "Accompanying women in the border areas" in 2024 in A Lu border commune, Bat Xat district.

At the program, delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate and present the 2.5 km long "Lighting up the Border Area" power line project with a total of 42 solar lamp posts worth 124 million VND in 3 villages: Ngai Thau Ha, Phin Chai and Seo Phin; started construction of a 450 m long concrete road in Ngai Cho and Phin Chai villages; presented 100 gifts, each worth 1 million VND to disabled women in especially difficult circumstances and poor students who have overcome difficulties in A Lu commune; visited and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of Y Ty Border Guard Station. The total value of gifts in the program "Accompanying women in the border area" in 2024 is worth more than 300 million VND.

Delegates attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the concrete road named "Military-Civilian Friendship".
The program "Accompanying women in the border areas" is an activity to arouse women's will to rise up; create a support and motivation for women and people in the highlands and border areas to overcome difficulties and rise up in life; contribute with the border guards to firmly protect the national border security and sovereignty. In the period of 2021 - 2024, the program "Accompanying women in the border areas" in A Lu commune was supported by the Ninh Binh Border Guard Command and the Ninh Binh Provincial Women's Union to build works in A Lu commune with a total value of 643.5 million VND.
