On the morning of February 27, the Border Guard Command of Thanh Hoa province held a launching ceremony for the peak emulation campaign. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025). With the theme "Lightning Speed - Determined Victory", the emulation campaign takes place from March 1, 2025 to May 19, 2025, including the following contents: Emulation to do well in education and propaganda work to raise awareness, responsibility, and determination for cadres and soldiers. Emulation to do well in preparing and organizing Party Congresses at all levels and the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

Thoroughly grasp and comprehensively implement military, defense and border protection plans and tasks in 2025; focus on and successfully complete the identified key political tasks. Strictly maintain the order and combat readiness regime, promptly advise and effectively handle situations, avoid being passive and surprised, firmly protect territorial sovereignty and national border security. Coordinate with forces to maintain political security and social order and safety in border areas, avoid hot spots and complicated incidents. Proactively participate in preventing and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, searching and rescuing, preventing and fighting fires and explosions, protecting state assets and people's lives.
Organize training according to the motto, viewpoint, principles, and combinations; train subjects according to plans, programs, and contents, ensuring 100% of the military; 100% of the test results meet requirements, of which 75% or more are good or excellent. Organize and participate in drills, competitions, and sports events to ensure strictness, safety, and high achievements. Focus on training methods, working style, and comprehensive capacity for officers and soldiers, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
