According to Thanh Nien reporters, island tours are still the top choice for tourists when coming to the coastal city. Mr. Tran Van Phu, Head of the Wharf Management - Tourism Services Department (under the Nha Trang Bay Management Board), said that as of 10:30 a.m., about 3,500 visitors had departed to visit Nha Trang Bay. Meanwhile, the number of visitors on August 30 and 31 reached about 2,200. "We expect that tomorrow (September 2) the number of visitors may increase even more," said Mr. Phu.

According to the leader of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, with 4 days off, the number of visitors to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa during the September 2nd holiday will increase compared to normal weekends.
