On the morning of February 14, 26 districts, towns and cities under Thanh Hoa province held military enlistment ceremonies for 2025.

Thanh Hoa Province Military Command said that this year, more than 4,000 citizens aged 18-21 joined the army and went to training units. Of these, 3,652 citizens were assigned to the Army by local authorities, and 487 citizens were assigned to the Ministry of Public Security.

Among the citizens participating in military service, there are two female citizens; 19 citizens with wives and 14 citizens with children. Citizens joining the army are assigned to 14 military receiving units of the Ministry of National Defense, including: Army Corps 12; Air Defense - Air Force; Navy; Provincial Border Guard Command; Capital Command; Academy of Politics; Academy of Military Medicine; General Department of Engineering; General Staff; Army Officer School 1; General Department of Logistics; Division 324; Brigade 206 and Regiment 762, Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command.

Statistics show that the proportion of citizens joining the army is mainly Kinh ethnic group (accounting for 70.76%), the rest are Muong, Thai, Dao, Tho, San Diu, Kho Mu, Catholic, and Protestant ethnic groups.

The number of party members joining the army is much higher than in previous years (839 comrades, reaching 22.9%), 726 young people have attended the party sympathy training class; nearly 700 young people have written applications to volunteer for the army. The proportion of young people graduating from high school is 66.8%, the proportion of young people graduating from university, college and vocational school is 191, reaching nearly 6%; the proportion of young people from ethnic minorities joining the army is 29.24%.
