According to Article 107 of the 2019 Labor Code, employees are only required to work on days off if they agree. When agreeing to work, employees will be paid overtime according to the provisions of Article 98 of the 2019 Labor Code.
Specifically, working during the day of Lunar New Year is calculated at an additional 300% of the salary of a normal working day. In addition, working at night on holidays and Tet is calculated at an additional 390% of the salary of a normal working day.
