On March 2, the People's Committee of Ngu Hanh Son District (Da Nang City) announced that the Quan The Am Festival at the special national monument and scenic spot Ngu Hanh Son will take place for 4 days, from March 16 to 19 (February 17 to 20 of the lunar calendar), with ceremonial and festival activities intertwined. In particular, the new feature of this year's festival is the program of running and walking for peace.
The official ceremony takes place on the 18th day of the second lunar month (the anniversary of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara) including the following rituals: procession of the statue of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, the Long Phung Avalokitesvara costume ceremony, offering of artistic fruit and flower trays, traditional boat racing festival, vegetarian culinary space, flower car parade, art program, flower lantern meditation, opening ceremony of the Sutra, raising the flag, raising the streamer and releasing hot air balloons, incense offering ceremony in memory of Princess Huyen Tran, spring sacrifice ceremony to pray for national peace and people's safety...
Festival activities include: tug of war, banana tree climbing to win the flag, fine arts exhibition, calligraphy, calligraphy and painting; launching the special issue of Dieu Am for the Quan The Am festival in 2025; exhibition and performance of Non Nuoc stone carving, art photography contest on the theme of Quan Am - festival season; puppetry, bai choi, tuong, lion and dragon dance, village flag festival.

According to Mr. Ta Tu Binh, Vice Chairman of Ngu Hanh Son District People's Committee, in 2025, the opening and closing times of the largest religious festival in Da Nang City will be adjusted.
The festival has 3 subcommittees in charge of ensuring civilization and safety, including: subcommittee in charge of rituals, foreign affairs, beliefs and religions; subcommittee of culture, arts, sports, information, communications and tourism; subcommittee of security, order, social safety, environmental sanitation, health, and commercial civilization.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee and Head of the festival organizing committee, said that 2025 is the third year the festival has been held on a city scale. This is one of the unique cultural features of Ngu Hanh Son and Da Nang, contributing to making Da Nang a city of events and festivals.

The 2025 Quan The Am Festival also aims to honor and promote the values of the festival recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage as well as the value of the special national relic Ngu Hanh Son, which is an important element in the project to Preserve and promote the values of Da Nang's national cultural heritage in the period 2021 - 2025. Therefore, the 2025 Quan The Am Festival is organized on a large scale, with rich and professional activities, bringing the impression of a civilized and friendly Da Nang city in the eyes of tourists.
"The festival is the crystallization of the values of Buddhist culture and the Ngu Hanh Son heritage site, a harmonious combination of religion and ethnicity, an opportunity to promote the image of cultural products, tourism, and people of Da Nang, attract tourists, and expand international cooperation in the cultural field.
