According to the 2025 holiday notice, Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1) will swap working days for 5 consecutive days off, from April 30 to May 4. Employees will go to work on Saturday, April 26 to make up for the missed work.
For agencies and units that do not have a fixed weekly Saturday and Sunday off schedule, the specific program and plan of the unit will be used to arrange a suitable holiday schedule.
The drafting agency encourages businesses to give employees time off according to the above schedule. Due to work requirements, businesses may proactively ask employees to work on holidays and Tet. This case will be considered overtime.
