Many Lang Son officials and civil servants violated alcohol concentration

In order to create positive changes as well as to make it a habit and culture when participating in traffic "if you drink alcohol, do not drive", the Traffic Police Department of Lang Son Provincial Police coordinated with the police of districts and cities to carry out a peak period of patrolling, controlling and handling drivers who violate alcohol concentration on key routes.

Patrols are conducted at all hours of the day, frequently changing checkpoint locations to check and handle violations. All detected violations are strictly handled, "no restricted areas, no exceptions".

Mr. Phan Ngo Cuong, a resident of Dong Kinh ward, Lang Son city, expressed his opinion: "In my opinion, checking alcohol concentration is very good because it limits many traffic accidents to avoid unfortunate and heartbreaking incidents.

Those who are officials and party members should be more exemplary than ordinary people. Handling these cases must follow the regulations, everyone is the same."

According to statistics, from September 1 to November 1, the Traffic Police of Lang Son Province detected and handled 2,492 cases of alcohol concentration violations; temporarily detained 2,506 vehicles; revoked 1,810 driving licenses; and imposed administrative fines with a total fine of nearly VND 11.5 billion.

During inspections, the authorities do not exclude vehicles of any organization or individual. When detecting violations, in addition to administrative sanctions, the traffic police also send violation notices to the management agency for cases of officials, civil servants, public employees, armed forces... for handling measures.

Notably, in just 2 months (September 1 - November 1) of peak patrol and control, the authorities discovered 70 cases of officials and officers violating alcohol concentration.

These cases work at many local agencies and units such as the Military Command of Lang Son province, the Management Board of Dong Dang Border Gate Economic Zone, Lang Son province, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Lang Son province, Department PC02, PC08, PA06 of Lang Son Provincial Police, Loc Binh District Police, Lang Son City Police, Van Lang District Police, Viettel Lang Son Telecommunications Group, Lang Son Electricity Company.
