In 1998, Mr. Nam returned to village 19/5 to start a business with nothing. With the will of Uncle Ho's soldiers, he and his family overcame difficulties and up to now, Mr. Nam's family has 3 hectares of rubber and an agricultural product purchasing facility worth billions of dong. The family's total annual profit reaches more than 500 million dong.

Not only is he a typical example of overcoming difficulties to become rich, Mr. Nam is also an example of compassion, willing to help, share, and support poor households in the village to rise up and develop the economy. Veteran Vu Van Vien in village 19/5 said: “My family wants to buy a breeding cow to raise. The breeding cow sells for 20 million VND but my family only has 10 million VND. To help my family have enough money to buy a cow, Mr. Nam did not hesitate to help me with the remaining money. A few years later, this breeding cow has spawned more cows like today...”.
Over a cup of fragrant tea, Mr. Nam confided: In the early difficult days of starting a business in the village, our family always received support from the Commune Veterans Association in terms of plants and seedlings; was given favorable conditions to access loans from the District Social Policy Bank... and the care and sharing of neighbors. Therefore, I always teach my children and relatives to always be aware of sharing experiences, supporting and helping disadvantaged households in the area both materially and spiritually to show gratitude to the land and people here who have taken care of, protected and been a support for us to overcome difficulties...
