On the occasion of National Day September 2, thousands of people from all over the country returned to the capital Hanoi to celebrate Independence Day and visit Uncle Ho's Mausoleum.
According to Dan Tri reporter, early in the morning, the line of people coming to visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum was long.
The family of Ms. Chu Thi Huong (Bac Tu Liem, Hanoi) said that despite the hot weather, being able to visit Uncle Ho's Mausoleum was a great happiness, so even if they had to wait in line for a while, they still felt happy.
"I waited in line for about 30 minutes. Although it was crowded, there was no jostling. I took my son to visit Uncle Ho's Mausoleum so he could understand, be grateful and proud of the great leader of the Vietnamese people," Ms. Huong shared.
Visiting Uncle Ho's Mausoleum with a group of friends, Mr. Tung (Thanh Chuong, Nghe An) said: "I brought my whole family, wife and children to visit Uncle Ho's Mausoleum. And I also want my son to understand the history of the country and the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh."

People lined up from Ngoc Ha Street - the street next to the Mausoleum to be led to visit Uncle Ho.
Ngoc Ha Street is temporarily closed to traffic.
