The water level of the Red River at Long Bien Bridge at 8:40 am on September 11 was 10.99m, 51cm below alert level III. At present, some streets in Phuc Tan ward such as Bao Linh, Phuc Tan... (Hoan Kiem district) are deeply flooded, with some places flooded up to 80cm.

In Bach Dang ward, on the night of September 10, district leaders came to inspect and direct flood control posts in the ward.

Ms. Quach Ngoc Thuy, Secretary of Bach Dang Ward, said that many areas in the ward are currently deeply flooded. On the night of September 10, Bach Dang Ward evacuated 103/250 households near the riverbank.

"Before 5 p.m. this afternoon, authorities will evacuate the remaining households to ensure the safety of people's lives and property," said Ms. Thuy.

Mr. T (living in lane 193 Bach Dang) said that his family had built many sandbags to block the water and mobilized many people to scoop the water out. But last night and this morning the flood rose so quickly that the entire first floor was submerged in water.
