From only 1 health station, with the attention and investment from the Central Government, the province now has 17 hospitals, 18 regional clinics with more than 2,650 beds. There are 11 district and city health centers. At the commune level, there are 175 commune health stations with 515 beds, basically meeting the medical examination and treatment needs of people in the province.

The health sector has invested in and applied new science and technology, promptly providing emergency care and treating patients with advanced techniques. In 2024 alone, the entire province will have over 1.1 million medical examinations and treatments, including over 20,000 inpatient treatments.
