The girls in the highlands are beautiful and attractive in the traditional costumes of the Dao, Tay, Giay, Mong... ethnic groups, adding to the colorful picture in the mountains and forests of the Northwest.
In 2024, Lao Cai province will organize the Traditional Costume Week of Ethnic Groups. This is considered an anticipated event for girls in the Northwest highlands. The costume of Giay women in Bat Xat district includes separate shirts and pants. The shirts are designed to be hip-length with colorful background colors such as red, pink, blue, purple... Giay ethnic women's shirts are decorated with cuffs and edges with different colored fabric lines to highlight the main color of the shirt.
