4 days free tour at Ho Dynasty Citadel

To celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025, the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center launched a series of attractive events with a 4-day free opening promotion for residents and tourists to visit.

Accordingly, from January 25 to January 29, 2025 (ie from December 26 to the first day of the Lunar New Year), visitors will be exempted from entrance fees to visit the Ho Dynasty Citadel heritage site.

From January 1 to March 30 (ie December 2 - March 2 of the lunar calendar), the Ho Dynasty Citadel will open a photo exhibition and billboards with the theme 'Ho Dynasty Citadel - Heritage and Community'. Through the photo billboards, visitors will experience very simple and everyday stories about the livelihood activities of people in the heritage area; learn more about the typical OCOP products of the locality; and understand the close connection between heritage and community in many aspects.

On January 14 (December 15), the grounds of the Ho Dynasty Citadel will become a space to display spring flowers and ornamental plants with the theme 'spring flowers of the ancient capital'. Here, visitors can enjoy flowers and unique works of art about ornamental plants. Next, on January 19 (December 20), at the Tay Do agricultural culture exhibition area, the ancient Tet space will be recreated with the theme 'Old Tet in the ancient citadel' to recreate a part of the traditional Tet space with very familiar culinary flavors such as banh chung, banh giay, peach blossom, apricot blossom, firecrackers...

On January 21 (December 22), at the South Gate of the Ho Dynasty Citadel, a heritage education program will take place with activities reenacting the Tet pole-raising ceremony and releasing the Ong Cong fish in the royal palace. On January 21 (December 22), at the South Gate of the Ho Dynasty Citadel, a closing ceremony and award ceremony for the summer photo video contest with the theme 'Brilliant ancient capital' will take place, organized by the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center in collaboration with Tay Do Secondary School. On January 31 (the 3rd day of Tet), at the South Gate of the Ho Dynasty Citadel, a calligraphy and calligraphy festival with the theme 'Old Tet in the ancient citadel' will take place.

On February 12 (ie January 15), at Dong Mon communal house (Vinh Long commune), Dong Mon village festival and cultural and artistic activities of the heritage area will take place with art programs and organized activities such as cockfighting, tug of war, sports, performing arts... In addition, when visiting Ho Dynasty Citadel heritage on this occasion, visitors will receive 100% free of charge for the interpretation service, served and experienced 10 new tourism products and cultural spaces such as: Tay Do agricultural cultural space; outdoor exhibition space for artifacts; exhibition of stone for building the citadel as a check-in point at the South gate; exhibition area for famous people of the Ho Dynasty; exhibition of cannon models and reforms of the Ho Dynasty; exhibition of archaeological excavation results; exhibition of land and people of Tay Do; exhibition of 'Ho Dynasty Citadel - history, legend and archaeology'... along with sightseeing routes to relics, scenic spots, traditional villages in the area associated with the characteristics of the heritage such as: Sightseeing route at the site; heritage and ancient village tour; spiritual cultural tour. With a series of exciting and unique activities 'celebrating the Party, celebrating Spring 2025', the Ho Dynasty Citadel heritage promises to be an attractive and unmissable tourist destination for visitors on their journey to explore Thanh land.
