Nam Dinh determined to create a breakthrough in implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW

The conference heard the announcement of the Decision to establish the Steering Committee on Science, Technology Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation of Nam Dinh Province; Operating regulations and assignment of tasks to members.

Delegates focused on discussing a number of contents on guiding viewpoints; breakthrough actions; key work programs in 2025 and the following years of the Nam Dinh Provincial Steering Committee.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee of Nam Dinh province Dang Khanh Toan spoke at the conference.

According to the Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Steering Committee of Nam Dinh province Dang Khanh Toan, the entire political system of the province needs to unify awareness and action; identifying the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation as a particularly important task of the province in 2025 and the following years.

In particular, it is necessary to promote the individual role of each member of the Nam Dinh Provincial Steering Committee and take advantage of the contributions of scientists and experts inside and outside the province; the spirit of creativity from the grassroots, ensuring solutions with high practicality and science.

The Nam Dinh Provincial Steering Committee and its members need to focus on substantive actions, avoid formalities, coordinate closely so that tasks do not overlap, ensure synchronization in direction and implementation; implement resolutely and urgently, assign specific tasks, link with individual responsibilities and presiding agencies, ensure transparency and clarity, have measurement indicators to monitor progress and evaluate implementation effectiveness.

Party committees and authorities at all levels need to concretize Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo (Resolution 57) with practical plans; in 2025, it is necessary to select and resolve key and breakthrough issues, creating a foundation for the 2026-2030 period and the following years.

It is known that, to implement Resolution 57, Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee has issued an Action Program; Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee has issued a Plan to implement the Action Program; at the same time, thoroughly disseminated, propagated and implemented Resolution 57 throughout the entire political system.

According to the assessment of the Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Development of Nam Dinh Province, in the initial implementation of Resolution 57, science and technology activities in the province have basically followed the Science and Technology Development Plan of Nam Dinh Province for the period 2021-2025, and are consistent with the approved strategies, development plans of sectors, fields and planning.

The development, promulgation of mechanisms and policies, and implementation of support for scientific and technological activities in line with the province's reality; research and application of scientific and technological advances in production and life are focused on and promoted, gradually forming a technology market, promoting innovation and a startup ecosystem.

Notably, the province's digital transformation has always achieved high results, and every year the Government has assessed it as a locality in the group of pioneering provinces, leading the country.
