In 2024, tourism industry's social revenue will reach 2,400 billion VND

According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in 2024, Quang Tri province organized many events, celebrating major holidays of the homeland and country, especially activities within the framework of the 2024 Peace Festival attracting a large number of tourists.

The total number of tourists to Quang Tri is estimated at 3,014,000 (an increase of 48.4% compared to 2023). Of which, international visitors are 168,000 and domestic visitors are 2,846,000; specialized guests are 1,017,000 and visitors are 1,997,000. Social revenue is VND 2,400 billion (an increase of 31.8% compared to 2023), of which specialized revenue is VND 975 billion.

In the coming time, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to direct and guide the cultural and information departments of districts, towns and cities, travel agencies, management boards of tourist areas, tourist attractions and tourist accommodation establishments in the province to ensure the conditions of facilities and services, stabilize prices, stimulate tourism by reducing accommodation prices during the low season; before, during and after the New Year and Lunar New Year.

Continue to organize inspections and rectify tourist areas, destinations, travel and accommodation businesses, always focusing on checking the implementation of price posting and price quotations on the market at tourist accommodation businesses and travel businesses.
