(QBĐT) - In addition to arranging additional support staff, creating conditions for quick and convenient processing for people, the staff in charge of citizen reception enthusiastically guided the operations so that people could carry out the procedures for issuing criminal records themselves right on the electronic environment. The Department of Professional Records, Provincial Police closely coordinated with the Department of Professional Records (Ministry of Public Security) to look up and verify information to issue criminal records in accordance with regulations, speeding up the processing of backlogged cases.
From March 1, 2025, the task of receiving the State management of criminal records and performing public services of issuing criminal records was transferred from the Ministry of Justice to the Ministry of Public Security. With this new task, the Department of Professional Records, Provincial Police has proactively implemented the issuance of criminal records to people in accordance with regulations, without interruption or affecting the rights of the people.
Since taking over the task, the Professional Records Department has assigned staff to be on duty and receive records at the Quang Binh Provincial Public Administration Service Center. Here, all activities related to the issuance of criminal records have taken place normally, without interruption or affecting the quality of service. The staff assigned to perform the task always uphold a sense of responsibility and enthusiastically guide citizens on the process and procedures for issuing criminal records.
Mr. Le Manh Quang in Nong Truong Viet Trung town (Bo Trach) shared: "We are very satisfied with the results of the judicial records being issued on time, on schedule and with enthusiastic guidance from the staff, very convenient for the people."
On average, every day, the citizen reception department related to the issuance of criminal records receives over 200 applications for criminal records via VNeID and the public service for issuing criminal records. With a large number of people, it must be processed through many procedures, but the determination of the Professional Records Department is to ensure the fastest and most convenient for the people.
“The transfer of the task of issuing criminal records from the Department of Justice to the Provincial Police is an important reform step in administrative management. With the existing citizen identification management data system and professional records, the Provincial Police have many advantages in ensuring that the process of issuing certificates is faster and more accurate. In particular, with the spirit of ensuring that the process of issuing criminal records is smooth and increasingly improving the quality of service to the people, the Professional Records Department will continue to improve the process, promote the application of technology and achievements from digital transformation, in order to further shorten the time for verification and issuance of criminal records in the coming time,” affirmed Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thi Chung. |
Major Le Duc Duy, an officer of the Professional Records Department, said that currently, the number of people coming to register directly and register for VNeID online is very large, this is a great pressure for the officers receiving people. To complete the workload, this urgent need of the people, officers and soldiers must arrange to work overtime, extra days and determined to answer the people early and accurately.
Currently, the Professional Records Department is receiving applications for criminal records through 4 forms, including: VNeID application; public service portal; postal activities; direct reception at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center. In particular, the unit is focusing on disseminating and guiding people to carry out procedures for issuing criminal records via the VNeID application.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thi Chung, Deputy Head of the Professional Records Department: “Implementing a new task in a short time poses many challenges for us. It is a new task, so the operation process is still confusing; some people are used to doing it directly, many people know how to use VneID, forget their password or do not use smartphones, which makes it difficult for officers to receive and process initial records. However, in order not to interrupt the issuance of criminal records to citizens, the Professional Records Department has prepared personnel, trained officers and soldiers, ensuring that the procedures are carried out accurately and quickly, with the highest goal of not leaving any delays or errors in order to return results to citizens.”
