The specific selling prices of the Honda BR-V versions include the G version priced at 661 million VND and the L version priced at 705 million VND. The pearl white color alone adds 5 million VND to both versions.
Competitors in the segment (only counting the automatic version) are Mitsubishi Xpander priced at 598-698 million VND, Hyundai Stargazer 575-685 million VND, Toyota Veloz 658-698 million VND.
Exterior
The BR-V is 4,490 mm long, 1,780 mm wide, 1,685 mm high and has a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. Meanwhile, the segment leader - Xpander is 4,475 mm long, 1,750 mm wide, 1,730 mm high and has a wheelbase of 2,775 mm. This means that the Xpander has the advantage in legroom between the rows of seats. The BR-V has the advantage in width.
The G and L versions are equipped differently. The L version has LED headlights and LED fog lights, while the G version uses halogen lights and does not have fog lights. Both have LED taillights and brake lights, shark fin antenna, electric-adjustable and electric-folding exterior mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, single exhaust and 215/55R17 tires.
Interior
The cockpit is designed in a sporty style, with a 7-seat configuration. The steering wheel integrates many function control keys, and the L version has paddle shifters. The MPV segment is still the playground of Xpander. Mitsubishi's model always dominates monthly sales, followed by Veloz and Stargazer. Since the beginning of the year, the number of Xpander cars delivered to Vietnamese customers has been nearly 6,700, Veloz is 3,640, and Stargazer is nearly 1,730.
Compared to its competitors, Honda models are more focused on driving feel and safety features. Honda also positions its products at a higher price in the segment.
Like Xpander, BR-V is also developed in Indonesia, the market that consumes the most MPVs in Southeast Asia. The appearance of BR-V helps Honda diversify its product portfolio. The car will be sold in Vietnam from July 12.
