From November 1, 2024, the Vietnam Military History Museum will officially open to visitors and offer free admission until the end of December 2024. According to the Government Electronic Newspaper, the Vietnam Military History Museum was newly built by the Ministry of National Defense in Tay Mo and Dai Mo wards, Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi city since 2019, on an area of 386,600m². Photo: Tuyen Parafu The exhibition space inside the museum on the first floor is divided into six themes, including The beginning of the nation's founding and defense; Protecting independence from 939 to 1858; Fighting against French colonialism and gaining national independence from 1858 to 1945; The resistance against French colonialism, 1945 - 1954; The resistance against the US from 1954 to 1975 and Building and defending the country from 1976 to the present day.
