Nhan Dan Newspaper presents a set of paintings of talented generals to the Vietnam Military History Museum

(CLO) On the afternoon of December 26, in Hanoi, Nhan Dan Newspaper presented a set of paintings displayed at the exhibition "Famous battles, talented generals" to the Vietnam Military History Museum to preserve and serve the public who love history.

Speaking at the event, Comrade Que Dinh Nguyen, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, said: Throughout the development of Nhan Dan Newspaper, the topic of soldiers in particular and the army in general has always been one of the spearheads of propaganda. This is not only a responsibility, but also shows the affection of Party journalists for the Vietnam People's Army.

In particular, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), in addition to propaganda through traditional press works, Nhan Dan Newspaper organized an interactive exhibition "Famous battles, talented generals".

At the exhibition, visitors were able to admire a series of portraits of 20 talented generals of the Vietnam People's Army, created by artist Do Hoang Tuong using watercolor techniques on paper. The works vividly depict portraits of talented generals such as General Vo Nguyen Giap, General Nguyen Chi Thanh, General Le Trong Tan, General Hoang Van Thai, General Le Duc Anh, etc.

According to comrade Que Dinh Nguyen, the interactive exhibition "Famous battles, talented generals" has continued to demonstrate a new development step of Nhan Dan Newspaper in propaganda work, conveying information to readers and people in a suitable and vivid way through modern and impressive technological press publications.

Speaking at the event, Colonel Le Vu Huy, Director of the Vietnam Military History Museum, expressed his joy and excitement when the Vietnam Military History Museum received a very valuable and meaningful set of paintings from Nhan Dan Newspaper; at the same time, he affirmed that the set of paintings will maximize its meaning in the coming time.
