2024 is the 5th year that the “Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product” award is held. This is a prestigious, official award in the field of information technology and communications by the Ministry of Information and Communications to be presented annually to Vietnamese organizations and enterprises with outstanding digital technology products. These products are researched, designed, created, and manufactured in Vietnam to solve Vietnamese problems and go international.

The 2024 Awards will honor outstanding digital technology products that bring pride to Vietnamese intelligence, create new momentum for economic growth, create national competitive advantages and increase labor productivity. These are also products that bring value to people and businesses in digital transformation, developing the digital economy in socio-economic sectors and fields. The Awards will also continue to honor Vietnamese digital technology products that conquer the world, contribute to the development of humanity and make Vietnam prosperous.

Speaking at the award launching ceremony, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Bui Hoang Phuong emphasized: The "Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product" Award is an important and specific activity of the Ministry of Information and Communications to support trade and investment promotion, promote domestic consumption, and boost exports for new products, services, solutions and business models.

The award also contributes to bringing digital application innovations of digital technology enterprises to promote labor productivity growth in economic sectors and fields participating in the country's industrialization and modernization.

After 5 years of organization, the “Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product” Award has attracted many entries. Many award-winning products of enterprises have been applied in practice, contributing significantly to the national digital transformation, promoting the digital transformation process of industries and fields to be faster and more effective.

The award has also created ripple effects, further promoting the development of Vietnam's IT and digital technology industry, promoting the policy and strategy of Make in Vietnam - Creation, design and production in Vietnam.

The Ministry of Information and Communications will coordinate with VCCI to select and award Gold, Silver, Bronze and Top 10 prizes for the best digital technology products. The Ministry of Information and Communications is committed to accompanying the award-winning enterprises to bring digital technology products to a wider market and further.

“I call on the Vietnamese digital technology business community to respond and actively participate in this award so that the Ministry of Information and Communications can find and honor the best and most deserving Make in Vietnam products in 2024,” Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong launched.

According to Mr. Hoang Quang Phong, Vice President of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, in 4 years of organization, the Award has discovered and searched for 234 digital technology products Made in Vietnam.

“We can proudly show the world that Vietnam’s intellectual products and digital science and technology have been and are “on stage” and are ready to “fight” into the competitive environment of the digital economy. The business community and people can enjoy the scientific achievements of Vietnamese digital technology enterprises,” Mr. Phong shared.

The Organizing Committee will start accepting applications from August 22 to October 22, 2024 online at the website: http://giaithuong.makeinvietnam.mic.gov.vn.

The 2024 Awards have 8 categories including:

1 - Outstanding digital technology products in the field of industry and construction;

2 - Outstanding digital technology products in the fields of agriculture, resources and environment;

3 - Outstanding digital technology products in the field of transportation, post and logistics;

4 - Outstanding digital technology products in the fields of education, healthcare, culture and society;

5 - Outstanding digital technology products in the fields of finance, banking, trade and services;

6 - Outstanding digital technology products for foreign markets;

7 - Outstanding new digital technology product;

8 - Potential digital technology products.

Each category will be awarded a Gold prize, 1 Silver prize, 1 Bronze prize and Top 10. Enterprises with winning products will receive communication support from the Ministry of Information and Communications and support for trade and investment promotion in domestic and foreign markets as well as enjoy other benefits according to the provisions of the Award Regulations.

In order to select and honor the most deserving digital technology products, the Organizing Committee of the Award calls on the Vietnamese digital technology business community to respond and actively register to participate in the award. Responding and actively participating in the award is also an opportunity to affirm the role, importance and ability of Vietnamese digital technology businesses in promoting the development of the digital economy for economic and social sectors, while demonstrating pioneering spirit and readiness to conquer the global market.
