The document clearly stated that, implementing the Resolution of the Party and State on the innovation of general education programs and textbooks, to date, the Vietnam Education Publishing House has completed the compilation of the textbooks "Connecting knowledge with life" and "Creative horizons" from grades 1 to 12, which have been approved for use by the Ministry of Education and Training and selected in large numbers in general education institutions across the country.

However, recently, on the website, the online learning platform Easyclass (Easy Class Education Technology Company Limited)... has posted audio files of textbooks, electronic learning materials built on the structure, topics, materials, and ideas of the two textbooks "Connecting knowledge with life" and "Creative horizons" of the Vietnam Education Publishing House to collect usage fees from teachers and students. According to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 20 of the Law on Intellectual Property 2005 (amended and supplemented in 2009, 2019, 2022), the creation of derivative works must have the permission of the copyright owner and pay royalties and other material benefits (if any) to the copyright owner.
The fact that Easy Class Education Technology Company Limited produces and sells electronic learning materials based on original works such as textbooks without permission from the Vietnam Education Publishing House is an act of copyright infringement. This not only seriously violates intellectual property laws and infringes on the rights of the Vietnam Education Publishing House and authors, but also directly affects the rights and legitimate interests of students and teachers when using these platforms.
NXBGDVN requests the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Internal Political Security, together with relevant agencies, to investigate and clarify the above violations, ensure the rule of law, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of businesses, teachers and students nationwide.
