However, according to Mr. Nguyen Tien Cuong, Director of VNPT AI, currently, AI products in the world are facing some problems; such as the accuracy of output (false), data security (data leaks to foreign servers), data update level (still slow), dependence when using. Therefore, Vietnamese AI assistants should develop in depth for a specific industry, field or task. To build an AI virtual assistant, Mr. Nguyen Tien Cuong said that there must be 4 factors, including: people, infrastructure, knowledge and strategy. Of which, the human and infrastructure factors only need finance to do it. Knowledge is data, which plays an extremely important role, but is not easy to collect and standardize according to regulations. If the data is not accurate, it cannot be implemented. Currently, VNPT creates AI assistants to compress knowledge in all fields and serve all subjects.

According to Huynh Quang Liem, General Director of VNPT Group, AI is a very broad field, but in just the last 5 years, AI has penetrated into every corner of life. However, in order to have authentic and reliable data, in addition to scientific data, the common standard knowledge of the world that we should take advantage of, Vietnamese AI products must be written by Vietnamese people and use Vietnamese data. Specifically, with knowledge about history, geography, culture, religion, etc., according to Mr. Huynh Quang Liem, it must be written by Vietnamese people, even by Vietnamese people in that field, using Vietnamese data. Thanks to the comprehensive digital transformation ecosystem, VNPT has created specialized AI assistants. VNPT is building a virtual assistant for History to help students self-study, grasp knowledge and pass the graduation exam for this subject... "Without AI, technology products will have no place. With just a topic, with the AI platform, in just a few months, we will create extremely good AI virtual assistants. Over the years, VNPT has been a pioneer, accompanying the Government in the national digital transformation process. In 2021, the Government issued the National Strategy on AI research, development and application to 2030, with the goal of making AI an important technology field of Vietnam in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. With its technological potential, VNPT has actively invested, researched and developed products and services applying artificial intelligence. The VNPT AI ecosystem currently includes 7 products, including: VNPT eKYC electronic identification platform; customer care and consulting support solution platform; VNPT Smartbot virtual assistant platform; VnSocial social network listening and monitoring platform; VNPT Smart Voice smart voice platform; VNPT Smart Vision image processing platform; VNPT Smart Reader smart text digitization platform; and vnFace 4.0 attendance and timekeeping solution. In particular, the three platforms and solutions VNPT eKYC, vnFace and VNPT Smart Vision are developed from VNPT FaceID facial biometric technology, one of VNPT's great achievements in the field of AI.
Up to now, VNPT FaceID is the only AI model of Vietnam in the world's Top 10 on the ranking of the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). At the same time, this technology is certified by iBeta (FIDO Alliance) to meet ISO30107-3 standards. This means that forgery tricks such as using images, videos, or human face simulation tools will all be detected. VNPT eKYC is also a core product researched and developed by VNPT AI engineers on the most advanced AI technology platform. The product can identify and extract accurate information from personal documents and portraits, instantly detecting abnormalities such as forged faces, documents, etc.

Mr. Ngo Dien Hy affirmed that AI applications will contribute to promoting a creative society, effective government, protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety, and promoting sustainable economic growth. VNPT AI is ready to accompany businesses and the Government in the digital transformation process by providing technology solutions that are easy to deploy, access, and customize to solve problems quickly, while ensuring safety and security for users.
