Opening a class to teach the craft of making panpipes of the Mong ethnic group

Artist guides students through the steps of making a Mong flute.

The training class guides students to grasp and practice the process of creating a panpipe. Students will be taught by artisans the secrets of choosing materials, how to make components such as: body, tube, belt and how to cast bronze, make reeds... to create a complete panpipe.

This activity aims to promote the role of panpipe artisans; raise awareness for the community, directly the students in preserving the good cultural values ​​of the nation. Contribute to enriching the cultural and spiritual life of the people; preserve and promote folk performing arts, social customs and beliefs associated with the panpipe of the Mong people. Create opportunities and a favorable environment for the panpipe making art of the Mong people in general and the Mong people in Ang Cang commune in particular to have strong appeal and spread in the community.
