Tips for you on the golden routes to see wild sunflowers in Da Lat

Da Lat - Lam Dong has just finished the rainy season, wild sunflowers are blooming brightly yellow everywhere. Tourists can hunt for photos on the brilliant yellow roads below.

There are also many places in the inner city with large fields of wild sunflowers. But the suburbs (Trai Mat, Cau Dat), or the neighboring areas of Da Lat such as Duc Trong, Don Duong, and Lac Duong districts are the places with endless fields of wild sunflowers.

Wild sunflowers are also known by many names such as: wild sunflower, chrysanthemum, mountain sunflower... This flower belongs to the daisy family. A plant usually grows into a bush with a height of 2 - 3m.

This wild flower has become a typical symbol of Da Lat city. The blooming season of wild sunflowers will begin around the end of October to the end of November every year. The flowers usually bloom at the end of the rainy season, so in years with a long rainy season, the flowers will bloom later.

One of the most beautiful routes to see wild sunflowers in Da Lat is the Cam Ly - Van Thanh - Ta Nung - Thac Voi route. This route has many wild sunflowers growing along both sides of the road and on large hills.

In the inner city, the most beautiful area where you can see wild sunflowers in full bloom is the old Cam Ly airport, located in Van Thanh flower village.

The route Cau Dat - Dran - Don Duong town - Phi Nom is also an impressive route.

On the way from Da Lat to Cau Dat, visitors will easily encounter many sections with wild sunflowers. This is an ideal place for visitors to combine flower hunting and visiting Cau Dat tea hill - a famous tourist destination in Da Lat. On this route, there is also the area at the foot of the Da Nhim hydroelectric dam.

The Prenn Pass and Lien Khuong Highway are popular with young people for planting wild sunflowers because they are close to the center of Da Lat. Wild sunflowers are abundant on the Lien Khuong Highway. From here, looking towards Voi Mountain, visitors will admire a whole hill dyed in the yellow color of wild sunflowers.

The route from Dinh 3 - Tuyen Lam Lake - Clay Tunnel is also an area with many beautiful wild sunflowers blooming.

The section of National Highway 20 that passes through Phu Hiep Pass and into Di Linh Town (Di Linh District) is also a route that cannot be missed when “hunting” for wild sunflowers. The route has many flowers growing on both sides of the road and on the hills. This route is convenient for those who come to Da Lat via National Highway 20.

The Tu Tra - Bong Lai route and the area around Da Lat Milk Farm (Don Duong district) are places where many wild sunflowers converge. This is an impressive flower viewing route because the wild sunflowers here are associated with agricultural activities outside the greenhouse. Therefore, visitors can be reminded of the plateau in the old days.
