According to SlashGear , after the recent watchOS 10 update, many users were confused when they noticed that swiping the Apple Watch screen to open the Control Center menu no longer worked as before.
This sudden change has left many Apple smartwatch users confused, not knowing how to control features as quickly as the previous version.

In fact, the control center is not gone, but the access operation has been changed in a completely different way. Because watchOS 10 is considered the biggest software update since the smartwatch was launched in 2014. Apple not only redesigned many of the native apps, but also changed the entire way users navigate the interface.
Now, swiping up from the bottom of the watch face will reveal a new feature called Smart Stack, which is a set of widgets that change based on time, location, and activity. To open Control Center, users need to press the button below the Digital Crown. And to close the menu, users need to repeat this action again.
Currently, Apple does not provide an option to change the way Control Center opens, which will be more or less difficult for long-time users who are used to the convenient screen swipe operation. This is a notable point that Apple should consider to improve the user experience in the next watchOS updates.
In addition, watchOS 10 also brings many exciting new features, promising to enhance the Apple Watch experience for 'iFans' in the future.
