High school graduation exam 2024 in the last 4 days of June
The Ministry of Education and Training issued Document No. 1277/BGDĐT-QLCL dated March 22, 2024 on guidelines for organizing the 2024 High School Graduation Exam.
Accordingly, the 2024 High School Graduation Exam will be held on June 26, 27, 28, and 29, 2024.
Specifically, June 26: exam registration; June 27, 28, 2024: exam invigilation; June 29, 2024: backup.
The expected announcement time for the 2024 high school graduation exam results is 8:00 a.m. on July 17, 2024.
After that, localities will conduct graduation exams for students taking the exam and use the graduation exam results to consider university and college admissions according to the enrollment plan.
In April and May 2024, the Ministry of Education and Training will organize technical training conferences on organizing the 2024 high school graduation exam for all localities.
The specific timeline for organizing the 2024 high school graduation exam from the Ministry level to localities is specified in the Exam Organization Guidelines document.
The 2024 high school graduation exam will basically remain stable as in the 2020-2023 period.
Previously, on March 6, 2024, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Circular No. 02/2024/TT-BGDDT amending and supplementing a number of articles of the current High School Graduation Exam Regulations.
Accordingly, the 2024 High School Graduation Exam will basically remain stable as in the 2020-2023 period, especially remaining the same as the 2023 High School Graduation Exam.
The Ministry of Education and Training only makes some technical adjustments to the Regulations to ensure consistency in the organization of exams nationwide.
Specifically, clearly define the exam subjects in the exam regulations to make it easier for candidates to register.
To ensure priority for candidates to avoid confusion during the exam registration process, exam registration units are responsible for looking up information from the national population database to confirm priority according to the place of permanent residence for candidates; candidates are required to be responsible for keeping their account and password information confidential.
The regulations also clearly stipulate the responsibilities of candidates during the exam. In addition to the regulations on items that candidates are allowed to bring into the exam room to serve the purpose of taking the exam, the new point is to add specific regulations on items that candidates are prohibited from bringing into the exam room. Regulations for candidates who only take 1 or 2 components of the combined exam (independent candidates).
Regarding professional expertise in exam preparation, additional requirements are added for exam preparation areas, exam printing, and exam marking.
In particular, clarify the period of state secret protection for exam questions so that candidates and parties involved in the exam organization process clearly understand and do not violate state secret regulations.
At the same time, specific regulations are made in the regulations of the test-making area, test-printing, marking and tasks of the rounds to ensure consistency with the implementation process of individuals and units participating in organizing the test.
The Regulation also adds a list of foreign language certificates used to exempt from the foreign language test in the annual High School Graduation Exam to create fairness for candidates and foreign language certificates that have been recognized to date.
In addition, there are also some other major technical changes in the exam boards, exam supervisors, and exam grading boards, or the inclusion of content from the annual exam organization guidelines into the regulations to ensure greater consistency in implementation during the exam organization process.
