Based on the teaching and learning plan, universities announce the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday schedule so that students and workers can proactively plan their spring travel and return home.

On November 26, the Government Office issued a document conveying the Prime Minister's instructions on Lunar New Year holidays and some holidays in 2025.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister agreed to let officials, civil servants, and public employees nationwide have 9 consecutive days off, including 5 days off for Lunar New Year and 4 days off every week from January 25 to February 2, 2025 (ie December 26 to January 5).
The Prime Minister assigned the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to notify administrative agencies, public service agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations, enterprises and employees according to regulations. Agencies and units shall arrange and organize on-duty departments according to regulations and work reasonably to handle continuous work, ensure good service to organizations and people, in which it is important to assign officers and civil servants to be on-duty to handle sudden and unexpected work that may occur during Tet and holidays according to regulations.
