Tam Long Viet Fund is a charity fund, operating not for profit, aiming to carry out humanitarian and charitable programs, providing material and spiritual support to people in difficult circumstances, the poor, and unfortunate children; supporting localities affected by natural disasters, remote areas. With programs such as Heart for Children: supporting free heart treatment for poor children with congenital heart disease; Going to School with Children program: supporting facilities and teaching equipment for disadvantaged schools, supporting teachers, giving scholarships to students...; Returning to Home program: building bridges for people, building flood-proof houses, supporting localities to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, storms, floods, epidemics... building social welfare works, contributing to the implementation of the State's social security policy.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang said that this is one of the activities with profound humanitarian meaning, a precious gift that the Tam Long Viet Fund - Vietnam Television has given to Binh Dinh province. The newly built houses, the renovated schools and the scholarships awarded by the Tam Long Viet Fund will help reduce the difficulties in the lives of people in remote areas, help students have better learning conditions, and believe in a better future.

In August 2024, Tam Long Viet Fund coordinated with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Dinh province to support the construction of 10 houses for 10 disadvantaged households in the districts of Tuy Phuoc, Van Canh, Vinh Thanh, An Lao, and Hoai An. At the same time, the Fund coordinated with the Department of Education and Training of Binh Dinh province to support the construction and repair of 03 school campuses of An Dung Kindergarten, An Lao district, Vinh Hoa Kindergarten and Vinh Thuan Primary & Secondary School, Vinh Thanh district. Currently, the projects have been completed, repaired and put into use.

From March 22 to March 23, 2025, at Binh Dinh General Hospital, the Heart for Children program of the Tam Long Viet Fund is organizing free congenital heart disease screening for all children under 18 years old in Binh Dinh province and neighboring provinces. The heart disease screening program takes place on Saturday and Sunday, with the participation of cardiologists from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, bringing great medical examination and treatment opportunities to children. After screening, all children found to have congenital heart disease from disadvantaged families will be reviewed by the "Heart for Children" program and supported with surgery costs.
