BHG - On the morning of February 27, joining the joyful and excited atmosphere of the whole country competing to achieve achievements to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party and the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025), provincial leaders and leaders and officials of the health sector offered flowers to pay tribute to the heroic spirit of President Ho Chi Minh in front of the Uncle Ho Monument in the premises of the Provincial Party Committee headquarters.
Attending the flower offering ceremony were comrades: Thao Hong Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Giao, Director of the Department of Health; leaders, cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Ha Giang Health sector.

The delegation respectfully offered Uncle Ho fresh flowers with deep affection, infinite gratitude and reported to him the results achieved by the health sector in the past time. The Party building work has always been identified by the Party Committee of the Department of Health as a regular task, implemented drastically and effectively; step by step enhancing the comprehensive leadership role of the Party Committee over the professional activities of the health sector; focusing on directing the preparation of congresses of branches and affiliated party committees and moving towards the Party Congress of the Department of Health, term 2025 - 2030; continuing to innovate, streamline the organization, operate effectively and efficiently in the spirit of Resolution No. 18, dated October 25, 2017 of the Party Central Committee.

Of the 6 targets assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to the Health sector, 6/6 targets have been completed so far; of which, 2 targets have been exceeded. Focus on training, fostering, and improving professional qualifications for medical staff; proactively develop training plans, organize, guide, review planning, determine job positions, and create favorable conditions for civil servants and public employees to participate in training. Currently, the average is 10.17 doctors/10,000 people. Strengthening professional work and improving the quality of treatment, many hospitals have to add more beds to meet the needs of treatment and care for patients. Currently, the average rate of actual hospital beds is 45.7 beds/10,000 people. Population quality has gradually improved. The natural population growth rate is 1.29%. Effectively implementing nutrition support and care programs for mothers and children; especially in ethnic minority areas and particularly difficult areas. The rate of malnourished children by weight has decreased to 16.2%. The rate of health insurance participation has reached 97.25%. The rate of children under 1 year old fully vaccinated with all types of vaccines has reached 88.3%.
2025 is the year of Party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, the 14th National Party Congress. In front of Uncle Ho's spirit, the delegation promised to continue to study and follow his ideology, morality, style and the things he advised in the letter to the health sector 70 years ago "Doctors are like kind mothers"; determined to complete the goals and tasks set out in 2025; successfully implement the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels; build Ha Giang province to develop more and more as Uncle Ho always wished, contributing to bringing the country into a new era - the era of national development.
