On the morning of October 14, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, received the delegation of the Vietnam Festival Organizing Committee in Sapporo, Hokkaido Province (Japan) led by Mr. Nakata Takahiro, Head of the Festival Organizing Committee, Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Sapporo, on the occasion of the delegation's visit and work in Quang Ninh.

At the reception, Mr. Nakata Takahiro, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Festival in Sapporo, Hokkaido (Japan), Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Sapporo, expressed his pleasure to return to visit and work in Quang Ninh for the second time this year. The positive effects in the good cooperative relationship between Hokkaido (Japan) and Quang Ninh (Vietnam) have been increasingly affirmed, especially after the working trip of the delegation of Quang Ninh province and the province's art troupe to participate in the Vietnam Festival in Sapporo, Hokkaido (Japan) last August. The Organizing Committee of the Festival hopes to receive the regular and active participation of Quang Ninh province, creating a unique cultural mark for the festival; bringing Vietnamese culture, promoting the image of the land and people of Quang Ninh to the people and tourists of Japan.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, affirmed that Quang Ninh province always attaches importance to and wishes to further strengthen the cooperative relationship with Japan in general and Hokkaido province in particular. This visit and working session of Mr. Nakata Takahiro shows special interest in promoting cooperation between the two provinces, as well as the close relationship between the two sides. In addition to strengthening cooperation in organizing festivals and cultural activities, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes to receive support in Japanese language lecturers at Ha Long University of Quang Ninh; continue to have exchange programs, receiving Quang Ninh students to study in Japan; promote tourism development, attract two-way tourist markets; further promote exchange and cooperation activities between Quang Ninh province and Hokkaido, contributing to deepening the friendly relationship and good traditions between Vietnam and Japan.
